Autocom designs and manufactures audio and communication systems for motorcycles, and they wanted an online store that lived up to that reputation. We built an e-commerce platform that brings their range of products to life with rich imagery and detail, makes them easy to find, and handles transactions securely from start to finish. Everything was shaped around the rider, with a buying experience that feels as considered as the hardware itself.

The challenge

An online store worthy of the hardware

Autocom's products are technical and varied, and riders need to find the right system, understand it, and buy it with confidence. The platform had to integrate a diverse catalogue of audio systems into one coherent store, make product search genuinely quick, and handle payments safely and reliably. It also had to look the part, reflecting Autocom's reputation through strong visuals and a polished experience.

Our approach

Research first, then build

We opened with a discovery phase to fully understand Autocom's requirements, their products and their customers. From there we worked in iterative development cycles, focusing on a custom design tailored to the brand, clean product integration and a secure payment gateway. Throughout, we prioritised user experience, visual appeal and efficient product search, building on Django and PostgreSQL with AWS infrastructure so the platform stays robust and scalable as the catalogue grows.
